Hello, I have a 1977 F350 Rollback, I'm wondering how hard it would be to put a 1995 Cab, and front clip on to the frame. I have a shop to fab, cut and weld, but not sure if it is even possible. Thanks, Tim
I have the whole 95 donor truck, my main comcern is the stering, does anyone know if this will work? I can cut the mounts off of the 95 frame if need be, don't think there would too much of a problem there.
I think he's doing it because he wants to...lighten up guys, lol
Hey TowTruck1, is the old cab rotted or you just want to modernize that old roll-back? I'm sure someone on FTE could use the cab if it's good! My '77 need a new one but I'm no where near ready to do a swap. Good luck to you!
I think maybe I'll just junk both trucks, and spend $10,000- $15,000 to buy a 95 truck. I wanted to do this swap because its mine, and I wanted to upgrade it on the cheap!!!
As I said before - it can be done. And if you have the time, shop space and skill it can often be done for less out of pocket than buying a newer truck. BUT it also boils down to how much free time you have and what your time is worth.
