DP tuner question
How much would you guys pay for a f-5 with 3 tunes in it? I have a friend that has one he is looking to part with. I know I will have to send it back and have it matched to the code in my truck right?? I want the f-6 but it depends on what i can get this one for. thanks

I believe Jody and Diane only give you 100.00 exchange for the F-5, you know the tunes will not work on your truck. So I would offer the 100.00.
It will cost you ( I believe ) 45.00 a tune, so you would be into this chip for 235.00. If you bought it new, it would be closer to 500.00

But if he is looking ofr an F6, and is going to trade in the f5, then that would be the only value, the 100.00
THe tunes on the other truck most likely will not work, so at no less, he has reprogramming to be done..
I agree Cody that the value shoudnt drop much, but that is if the chip remains on your truck, not when you sell it?? The value drops ( in my opinion ) significantly.
But thats my .02, and we know what .02 will get ya anymore..

so will the tunes not work on my truck and when I send it back it will have to be wiped clean and reprogrammed or will they work and i just have to get it reprogrammed for my truck. If i get it at a deal and it works I will not be trading it in on an f-6. I am sorry for my ignorence but I do not know how these things work
