I have a 2001 Ranger with regular old fashioned locking door (I use the key to unlock). After I unlock the driver side door, I cannot get it opened. I go to the passenger side door, unlock it get inside pull the door handle of the driver side and push hard for it to open. We just had snow in New Jersey. It did this when I first got in the car today and after I got done shopping at Wal-Mart. Do I spray the lock or put something on the rubber trim or what Please help I have to go back to work Sunday and I look funny unlocking my door the way I do.
Since you can get in from the passenger's side door, run your
heat on high, and this should melt the frozen seal on your drivers
door. I agree on the WD-40, use graphite lubricant on the key
lock.
One other suggestion, don't wash your truck when the temps are
below freezing (at night)......
