We just purchased a 95 F150 xlt. The engine and transmission had been replaced with a 351 (5.8) of supposedly the same year. Ran excellant but didn't want to start when hot. Had great vacuum so we adjusted the timing so it started better. Now it has no power. Moved it again and it has more power and starts ok but is not right. Battery and alternator seem to be fine. Any ideas?

 

What is your base timing set at with the spout out ? ...Lew
