parking brake cable
Good day folks,
I got an 07 f-150 and i have had a couple of instances where my parking brake cable has come off the lever at the back wheels. It seems that when the cable comes off, the lever goes all the way back and it is the same as pulling the lever forward and the brake is on. The cable is a bit of a bear to get back on. My wife drives the truck most of the time and i have asked her not to use the parking brake. I dont want her to drive it with the cable off, and I know she does not know how to get it back on. Our driveway is on a bit of a hill, so now when she puts the truck in drive it makes an awfull clunking sound..... So I want to get this problem fixed! Has anyone esle experienced or heard of this problem. Please let me know!
