I am trying to find BLACK plastic rail caps (covers)/ tailgate cap (cover) for 2001 F250 SD w/ 6' bed. The ones the factory installed are a grey color. All I am able to find is for F150 online.
Anyone have a link I can use? I know Ford installed black in other years so even if I could find the OEM black ones to fit, that would be great.
I'd look with my favorites, BAK's are the most precise I worked with. Wade was nice because of the textures available. Bushwacker was a good standby, but I didn't like the drop down by the tailgate. All of these should just stick over any OE should they make them for your application.
I don't know of any aftermarket factory replacements, but you may check with your local body shops. They may have a supplier not in the accessory world.
Thanks guys. Unfortunately none of those offer the rail caps for a 2001 F250. They do for an F150 and all other years of F250. For some reason NOBODY offers plastic bed rail caps for years 99-04 F250SD. Don't understand it.
Don't know if you want to go this root, you can always get some good used ones or new and paint them, I painted all my plastic, bed rail, and plastic on my bumpers with fusion paint for plastic, turned out great...
I dug out my new cabelas book to make sure. They are for 99-06 F-250/350.Bed rail and tailgate cap.Made by DEEZEE rails $109.99 and tail gate cap is $29.99.Yes they com in black.Bed rail part number is 52-3322 and the tailgate cap part number is 52-0158.Hope this helps you out a little better.
Sounds like there's hope yet. Last time I checked I couldn't find anything either. I'll check the DeeZee part, or might just use the plastic paint. Thanks for the ideas.
