F250 cooling issues - help please????
If AC, you may need the clutch gap adjustment. ...If you are lucky (See the FAQs above). It would pay to blast out the condensor (in front of the radiator) by backflushing with comp air and/or a hose. The clutch on the engine fan could also be bad. It sounds like an airflow issue, so the condensor or fan clutch are likely culprits, but the heat buildup can cause a borderline clutch to start slipping too.
If that doesn't work, you are likely low on freon or your compressor is dying. Try the easy stuff first. You need gages to determine if you are low on freon or have a bad comp.
So do the easy stuff and report back if it fixed it or not.

Sorry for not being clear....it is the A/C that is getting warm at traffic lights...the engine temp is fine.
The truck only has 37,000 miles and it sat for over a year at a dealership until I bought it...they wanted to dump it so I got a prettty good buy. Everything else is excellent, so I assumed the A.C was ok, too....until I started using it.
