h.p and cam question

Ok i post here before about more h.p and was tell to go when longtube headers and custom exhaust. Im going to buy longtube headers and I wonder if a b303 cam would be good but the jegs and summit books all say up to 1995 for the headers and cam my is a 96 302 what is the different thanks.

The only difference that i know of is the 95 is OB1 and the 96 is OB2 , that shouldn't make any difference as far as i know , may be just the listing ...Lew

The B cam is all wrong for a stock 5.0 in a truck, though it would work great with lots of gearing and better heads.. just ask Lew. For a stock mass air truck 5.0 I suggest the Comp 35-320-8, there is no mechanical difference between your motor and earlier versions either so you can ignore the fact that parts stores don't list anything for a '96.
