Sirius Channel Names

I recently bought a 2010 F150 Platinum with Nav. I was just wondering why the Sirius channel names are not updated. For example, Backspin(the actual channel) is called Pop2K on the radio, etc. Does this have to be updated via a firmware update or is this something that can't be updated? Thanks!

I'm going to guess this information is provided in the data stream from Sirius and cannot be changed by the user.

I would ask this question on the Sirius site.

I originally thought that, but when I called Sirius to setup my account they told me that info is NOT sent via the data stream. I wouldn't think so either because the Nav unit displays a logo of the channel name, and verbally announces the channel name. I doubt this would be pushed via the stream.

Okay, sounds weird to me but I guess it's time for a question on Syncmyride.com or to the dealer.
