Another smoke issue
Hey guys. I need a little help. In the past couple of days I have noticed an increase in the amount of black smoke coming out of the exhaust when accelarating from a stop. I am thinking the first thing I need to do is pull the EGR valve and have a look. Is there any way to test an ERG valve, or should I just look at cleaning it again or replace? I was also thinking that if the EGR checks ok that maybe it is time for some turbo R&R. I would have to say that other then a slight decrease in MPG, it runs fine.
What else might I need to look at? Also my Edge Insight reports no codes.
