Question on F250 gears...
I need to know what gears are in my Dana 60 rear on my F250 i have.
what would have probably have come in a 78 F250 supercab longbed 4x4 with a 400 and C6?
and is there any way to tell for sure without counting teeth?

3.54, 3.73, or 4.10. If you don't wanna pull the cover...... then the only other way to know for sure is the spin the tire / count driveshaft trick. If you don't think anything has ever been swapped out, you could check the axle code on the door tag.
