ball joint seals?

ball joint seals?
I got new tires to day and they say i need ball joints. 
i will check them to night to see if they are bad do i need the kit form Ed or can i just get the yellow oring? don't think the axle and dust are bad but can they be reused and dont know about the hud kit?
The kit is 121.00 and the oring is 3.94

just bought everything from napa. seals orings the whole thing. it was like $90 dollars with no ball joints. you will need to get or make a seal installer. if you want part numbers i can give them to you. i bought xrf ball joints. suppost to be the best.
