Thumbs down Instrument Cluster Problem?

I own a 1986 F150 and none of the instrument cluster works. Fuel gauge, oil pressure, everything isn't working. I've checked all the fuses.. any advice?

Did they all die out recently or did you just get the truck and you aren't aware the last time they worked? Do the gauge lights work when you turn on the headlights?

What about tach or speedo?

I bought it and they never have worked.. yes the gauge lights work, but barely.. the speedometer bounces back and forth, never detecting the right speed.

Id first make sure the rear plugs are all the way in.

When removing mine and putting it back in for the first time i accidently hooked it in like 1/2 way and it didnt work.

Worth a try.
