Extended mirrors
Hey all - relative newbie with a 1997 Canadian 250 PS 7.3. Has OBS, even tho 97 in Canada. Mixed use - general truck, slide-in camper hauler. The mirrors are not good enough for camper use. I bought a pair of cheap plastic "clipon" extension mirrors. They shake, hard to adjust, and not very useful. I've got the factory electric mirrors. Not sure what my best bet is - LMC truck makes some nicer "slipon" extension mirrors, but I'm thinking about the old style metal frame mirrors. Would it be possible/easy to mount the old-style metal frames? I don't think I could do the high/low mount (not much door frame on top). But could I use the triangle-shaped frame with the electric mirrors? What's everyone's experience? Thanks.
