Hey guys
I dont post to much but I read alot! I need a little help. I changed the diffrenial fliuid in my rear end of my 88 f250 5.0 non limited slip. I took the cover off and drained it out put the new gasket and cover on...but I cant find where the hole is to refill....I know this sounds silly but I have a nut at the top i broke loose and poored it in and it was pertty obious it wasent for the fluied...Any help before dark would be great lol
(oh I have 12 bolts on the diff cover if that helps anything )

Yeah you need a 3/8" ratchet end to take it out. If you need to use an extension use the shortest one you can find. Longer extensions make it harder to remove.
Yeh, When ever I put my truck in gear or in reverse it kicked really hard...I thought it was a tranny problem.
Diff prolly wasent serviced in a long time... It runs alot better and doesnt kick no more !
