Torque converter question?

Hello folks, I have a few questions that I hope ya'll can help me with!!

I am about to finally install my rebuilt 390 in my truck and the only missing piece of the puzzle is the torque converter. My 390 has the following components:

.060 over 390 with Speed pro forged pistons
Stock Rods with ARP Bolts
Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads, 72 CC
Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake
Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam kit
Holley 3310 Carb 750 vac secondaries
Stock Duraspark ignition with Mallory coil
Hedman headers
NX Nitrous kit 100 HP
Rebuilt c-6 with shift kit
9 inch rear with 3:55 gears

Summit racing has a TCI Sizzler converter with a stall speed of 1700 RPM for $140.00 and I was just curious if ya'll thought that would be a good converter for this combination?

Thanks in advance,

Perry

In the late '60s and through the '70s the drag racers were using the Pinto T/Cs because they wer Ford remans (new) and only cost about $60 over the counter. Thay gave them a pretty high stall. I don't know what else if anything they had to do to the trans to make it work. They were using them in the C6 behind the SCJ motors for sure.

Doesn't Edelbrock have a recommendation for that cam?
