What wheels will fit?
I picked up a 53 F-350 and was wondering what wheels will fit it? I am wondering about the front 6 lugs because the rear wheels are duals and look ok. The front wheels are split rim and I'll have to put new tires on it. No one that I can find even knows how to change tires on split rims or even want to. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info and threads. I am thinking of going with 9 inch in the rear and figure out what I wanna do up front. I do have a 89 Bronco rolling frame sitting next to my house. I wonder how much work would be involved with swapping frames? I am working on my 62 Unibody, which will be done before the 53 gets touched. It may sit for a year or two, but I have it in my possession, so it can sit as long as I need it to. I may even lose interest in it, but that will be later on, if at all. I am not sure why I signed on once as 91BroncoToy and once as sixty2unibody. I am the same person, just 2 projects.

Frame swaps can be done, and have been done from what I've read, but am of the understanding that it's a real PITA. I'll defer to the others to give you details. I'm sure others can link you to old threads on the subject too. Stu
