i have an 86 f-150 its 4 wheel drive with manual hubs its also a 4 speed and has a 300 straight 6, now i have new rotors and new front brakes for it, i want to sell the rotors and brakes to my friend who is re-doing a 85 f-150 flareside can she use the rotors and brakes from my truck on her truck
If the flairside is 2wd, the rotors won't work. 4wd rotors are the hat-type, while 2wd uses a hub/rotor cast as one piece.
As for the pads and/or calipers, there was a change somewhere around 85 or 86, so I don't know if they would interchange.

1984/85 F150 2WD/4WD: The disc brake pads are the same. But manual disc pads are different than power disc pads.
1986 F150 2WD/4WD: The disc brake pads are the same, but are different than 1984/85. Again, with/without power discs makes a difference in the pads.
1984/85 F150 2WD/4WD: The calipers are the same (EOTZ2B120A & EOTZ2B121A). 1986 F150 2WD/4WD uses different calipers than 1984/85 (EOTZ2B120B & EOTZ2B121B).
The rotors are not the same for any year F150, as they are specific to 2WD or 4WD only.
