Wink More Red for Red

Well I have had the hard line HPX and Red IC boots of Clays setting on my work bench for a little while now. So this afternoon was the time to put them on. I wanted to pull the spider and paint it anyway so I pulled the IC tubes, spider and cleaned them a little and gave them a couple coats of paint while there. I was going to clean the valley but I did this when I put the 38R on so the only thing down there was 2 little dirt dobber nest I like that clean valley. It all went back together like it should no leaks and no boots blowing off at 40 boost so all is good. Some may think there is to much red so let me know what you think.
Man this is cruel I cant just post pics like I use to.

I sure don't think its too much, I think it looks tasteful, it picks up the color of your truck-color-keyed then?-I will do mine some day but my truck is white and I don't think white will stay clean enough under the hood for me.........

What kind of primer/prep are you using to paint your aluminum pieces?

Looks great, nice job. But since you asked, I think a set of black boots would have really set it off. My .02 cents.

Thanks to all for your comments. I like the look even better today. Wayne I almost went with black boots I still think that would look good but I did the red and like it. The turbo was painted last year with VHT paint ceramic and heated as direction say. I cleaned it all good with simple green and a wire brush and steel wool. The IC pipes and spider was just painted with dupli-color ceramic engine enamel with out a coat of primer.
