Replacing Heads 05 5.4

Anyone have any info or tips on changing heads on a 05 F-150 5.4 3v. My truck has 130,000 miles and sounds like a powerstroke at idle. Everything is still original. I know it needs plugs, cam phasers, VCT solenoids and probably timing chains and guides. I have a pair of new 09 3v heads complete. Thinking I can solve a bunch of problems at one time. Anyone have any thoughts?

What's the difference between the '05 heads and the '09 heads? It was my impression that all of the changes made on the '09-up trucks were to the intake end, not the heads?

The '09 and newer heads don't use the "high thread"( translation Pain in the A** ) spark plugs. I know that I'll need to change coils, which I already have. Intake and exhaust ports look the same, so I should be in business

Easiest way to change the heads is lift the cab. You can have the cab in the air in under 2 hours the first time. Then just sit on the front tires and get busy!
