Okay so I swapped out what I understand as the glow plug control module with a buddy of mines after trying to figure out what was wrong with the truck. Well it fixed the problem when clearing out the SES light. The only thing is now I have to find that part. It has to be the hardest part to find. Some places call it a GPCM, some call it a CPM, and others mistake it for a relay. What's it's correct name? The part number is: 1828565c1 (itl)
The picture is: http://endurancepower.com/media/ALLIANT_AP63406.jpg
Well now to the reason I am posting, is there any places that has the best price for it, and is a good place to get it? I have never got one before, I am looking for someone that has done this before, or has some other insight farther than mine. The cheapest I have found it was.. ACDelco Glow Plug Relay - 2000 FORD F 250 SUPER DUTY PICKUP 6.8L
It says the brand is ACDelco, different part number, and it is for a 6.8L.. for 172.24 ... I can't find any for a 2000 7.3 Powerstroke. Please help. Thanks!
If its the actual module try Clay @ Riffraff diesel performance. I got mine for 149.99. The modules are on excursions. I think they are called relays on the super duties which is a different part
