If your truck is obdII then there is a connector near the glove box but under it. If your Turck is OBD 1 its either to the left of your knee when driving or under hood.

What year is it?

You may be able to get a parts store to scan it, however some scanners dont work on our trucks.

I went and had the codes pulled but there wasn't any codes , the check engine light is not on. It idles rough in the stock position and does not do it when the chip is on. Any suggestions on what it might be will be helpful thanks.

Do you have a idm mod? I would contact the manufacturer of the chip about this issue.

Other info but I dont think its your problem.
