EGR issues cured with TUNER?
Will a TUNER eliminate EGR system issues.?
I saw a video by the dieselmedic fellow (has 30 videos on Youtube) that said the tuners (he likes SCT) opened the EGR valve which not only decreases strain on the system but gives MPG and power.
Sounds like sound logic. Anyone know what tuners are best for this?

Sct or the spartan tunner with custom tunes are the only way to go with a 6.0. As far as a tunner helping the egr system I don't see how. The main problem with egr coolers going out is casting sand pluging the oil cooler causing poor flow to the egr cooler, and without the coolant flowing through the egr cooler, the hot exhaust cracks the cooler.
