VIN Decode
Tried the decoder. Gave me the model year and that it was made in Kansas City. Some help on this would be appreciated. X265KDK0416

X26 means its an F250 SuperCab 4x4 IIRC

and thats all i know how to decode.
I was probably no help at all though....

That 4th digit is probably an S, not a 5.

X26 - F250 4WD Supercab '78-79
S - V8 400 2BBL
K - Kansas City
DK0416 - assembly number 1979 model year

That's the # I pulled off the title. I'll have to swing by the mechanics and double check the plate. That would suck, lot's of paperwork at the DMV if you're right.
