replacing spider gears

well, i know this has been discussed time and time again but, my rear end clunks real bad when i put it in reverse or drive. took the rear end apart to discover the lose spider gears. i alost have a limited slip. how do i go about replacing this? sould i just buy a new limted slip? or can the spiders be replaced?

or am i just all messed up here?

If you have a Trac-Loc limited slip this is what it should look like. Does yours have all these parts and in particular the large cross pin through the S spring with a retaining bolt in the case divot to the top left? If any of the parts in your diff are worn or broken they can be replaced with those from a donor.

And you're sure it's the spider gears making the noise and not a loose pinion nut?
