i did not have a ford mechanic handy, did it myself. installed a sinister kit very nice. all back together, but have a hissing noise around turbo area. truck runs great, just wondering about the intake gasket. was not changed. not required with this kit. im trying to find noise, im thinking it might be from the exhaust.

Well when I removed my turbo, I found a nice size crack in the blue boot that caused me to loose most all boost. They can crack with that much pressure on them. Did you check it good before installing it? Do you have any liquid leaks?

i have no leaks at this time. truck runs and drives flawless, but this weekend will check those boots again. when start cold, hissing noise is delayed by about 15 or 20 seconds, this makes me believe it is not intake gaskets but not sure, just dont want to ruin engine. will keep u updated, have to fix by end of month, thats when done with medical leave from work.
