The build date is one way, but I don't know the dates off the top of my head. IF the truck is bone stock, than you can tell by looking at the air cleaner assy, the spider (intake manifold), or the fender emblems. Is you Power-Stroke emblem on the front of the fender, or on the door? Correct me if I'm wrong, fellas... but the emblems are one way to tell, right? If not, what is the build-date break-off?

DUH!!! Why didn't I think of that? On mine, the only indicator is the spider. My dad replaced the intake tube with a late '99 version so it'd be easier to work with.
