Looks like it's missing all the gaskets and new orings. Intake gaskets they say u can reuse. They say u can do it without removing the intake but if it were me I'd take the intake out and clean it. It's pretty dirty, trust me it's caked with soot and sludge.
how do you clean out the inside of all the goop without giving it "The Dip"!?
Some people will probably say different but I took some simple green and soaked it down and got some brushes on a flexible stick and scrubed through all the holes. Then took it to the car wash and blasted the crap out of it. It's messy and that's why I took it to the car wash cause it's caked in there.
good idea, last thing I want is a black speckled..... everything!
Yeah. Wear some clothes u don't care about and take an old towel with ya cause your gonna get some speckles. Might take some carb cleaner with ya for some of the gunk that's hard to get out.
Yeah Doug was still in the process of making this intake when I did my delete. I wasn't sure how they were gonna turn out but I wish I wouldve waited. Much better airflow and looks good too. He makes em out of your stock intake. Nice work.
Yep thats the complete kit. I know cause I talked to Bob down there and ordrered one too!
P.S. some pics of their kits show the brass compression fitting on the coolant bypass, that has since been changed to the welded one you see in some of the other pics.
