EPOXY PRIMERS

Question 1. I would like to know if there is such a thing as spray can epoxy primer? I'm guessing not since the first two sites I looked at were for spray gun applicating.

Question 2. If there is such an animal what is the best brand to use for a primer base that will be on it for at least 12 months?

The truck was from Nevada. It has virtually no rust except some surface stuff in the usual places: bed, impact areas, floor.

I plan on using POR 15 prior on those areas ( mainly because there is a distributor local who should be able to help me application-wise ).

My plan is to drive the truck this summer into fall and then garage it, pull apart the front clip, bed and start my POR 15 ( Extensive application ), clean up the engine compartment, body work, and paint prep and then have it shot next spring.

Questions 3. Should I do the POR 15 now ( warm weather ) where I can easily access? Areas like the floor, rockers, underside of cab ( again areas of easy access ) and fender wells?

I'm not going to pull the cab. I really don't have the ability and, it and the frame look awesome. I just want to protect it as much as possible short of a frame off project.

Nix question 1.

I just found the Medallion site and another site where it sounds like this would be a very expensive and not so hot way to go about primering.
