Post Truck almost dying like clock work?

Figured I would see if I can get help on this one since I am drawing a blank and so is my buddy that is a Ford Mechanic. Truck has been hooked up and checked and tons of stuff been replaced, AKA threw the parts grenade at it. Not so much that it didn't need the things replaced since it has a few miles and hard telling how long if ever the typical maintenance stuff has been done on it.

So ya basic stuff has been done, cleaning the maf, I think he cleaned the IAC but I could be wrong, checked for all the typical vacuum leaks, fuel filter, plugs, coil plugs three times now(never buy the ones off Ebay), had a gem module put in it awhile ago(damn leaking windshield), truck now has no cats thinking they might of been plugged, and the EGR is plugged off for some time now since I had to put on a new set of manifolds years ago.

Anyway truck would run rough, always number three coil pack would come up reading bad. Replace it the truck would be fine then it would go out again. So I got rid of the after market ones and put in a stock OEM ones I had from a Mustang I owned that got MSD ones at one time.

Anyway that fixed that problem but the truck still runs rough from time to time as in it isn't firing properly, but here is the weird thing. Every day I get in to the truck to head off for what ever and the truck will act as if it is starting to die, well it will die if I let it by not giving it gas. It does this at the exact same distance every day when I leave my house.

Then when I go to leave were I am at it does the exact same thing at the same spot when the truck has sat for some time. Every time it does this..

Asking for the thoughts of the experts here. Like I stated it at times just isn't firing properly either it seems as it seems sluggish when I am on the throttle then I give it more gas and you can feel it come out of it..

Thanks for the help in advance..

Oh ya 97 5.4 4x4 167,xxx miles on it and when I bought it back in 05 it had around 148,xxx on it. As you can see it doesn't get driven often. I use it to tow a trailer mainly but the way it is running I have not used it to do so this year since it has really been a pain for me anymore and a hassle to drive the way it has been running.

The three things that immediately come to mind are a bad TPS, a weak fuel pump, or a bad/sticking IAC valve.

"a weak fuel pump" This is what we have been leaning towards as well.. He has wanted me to drop it off to him for like two months now so he can try a couple more things but I just been to lazy to get it to him and being polite since he has a new born as well..

Love the truck but man has it nickled and dimed me to death..
