Door Ajar Light
My door ajar light is always on and never goes off. My doors are shut fine and its still on. I've searched on here and i have tried the wd 40 thing and nothing happened. Does anyone know how to fix this.
Its a 2001 f250 5.4 extended cab 4x4.

You may have to pull both of the door latch switches out to test them. I think they are simply a series circuit that needs to become a closed loop for the light to be off. When you open either door it breaks the continuity of the loop and turns the light on. You could probably find a wiring diagram in a Haynes book. More than likely your dealing with a bad door latch switch.
