Too much?

Here's a crewcab that's for sale on craigslist and I thought it was overpriced. The good: it's a crewcab! The bad: it looks to have plenty of rust! Anyways, what do y'all think? 78 Ford One ton It's not like I would buy it but I just came up on it while browsing craigslist. I don't know if anybody would want that much of a project.

Yeah he is crazy, he will be lucky if he doesnt have to pay someone to haul it away, he will if he doesnt come off that price. $1500 for basically a junkyard 429? And hes wrong on the year too, at newest its a '77 unless someone changed the grill, color scheme, interior etc.

I want some of whatever he's on. It's... not even running with a non-stock engine swapped in with God knows what amount of attention to detail. No thanks. Scrap value, maybe.

Even by my standards that is a pile of junk. I would take it for 100 bucks to scrap but thats it. It's a 77 according to the grill, hood and the steering post. JUNK JUNK JUNK

Yeah that's what I thought, it's a rust bucket for sure. Like y'all pointed out, it's gotta be a 73-76 because of the trim, grill and where the F-250 emblem is located . For $100 I would take it in a heart beat but for $1600 I say no way!

Well, if it is indeed only surface rust (which I doubt) I would give $400 because it is a crew cab. In fact, the cab and the trim are about all I would keep. The rest is junk.

it looks to be a 76, emblems on the fender and the grille inserts. It might not be as bad as everyone thinks. I'd like to take a look at it if I were closer. They are hard to find trucks, and just because it looks like junk, it might not be bad. send it north and it could be called a very solid truck.
