2002 ford explorer instrument cluster problem
i have tried to look around on the site before i posted but couldnt find anything the problem im having is i had a bad battery last night my guages all stoped working i installed a new battery today still no guages when i first start the truck they work when i start driving the all fall down to zero when i brake they come back on i had the charging system tested after i put the battery in and its showing the alternator is putting out zero amps not really sure whats wrong so any help would be apreciated

Make sure the connections to the alternator are clean and tight and plugged in properly before replacing it.
