good morning everyone, This morning I took off my throttle body so I could replace my TPS sensor and as I took off the throttle body I noticed inside the upper intake there was oil inside not gobs of oil but a light film as far as I can see inside is this normal? If its not what do you think could be causing it. *UPDATE* there is a puddle in the rear of the intake not much but there is puddle.
Here is a pic

Reason: to add a bit more information
A little is normal because of the PVC valve, you can check it for excessive blow by with a simple vacuum gauge.
Timing correctly set, you'll want to see a rock steady needle on the gauge, wavering bouncing needle tends to be a sign of blow by.
I read where some have gone as far as to install a oil separator in the pvc's hose to remove the oil the motor would normally suck in from it.
A quick google search, something like "engine vacuum" will give you a better understanding on how to read what a vac gauge is telling you about your motor if you never used one.
