limited slip

limited slip

My 94 the limited slip does not work, how hard is it to fix

Isn't the clutch packs the same as a ford 8.8? I have a spare rebuild kit for my mustang and I know my trucks LS could use a rebuild.

Similar style yes, but much larger than the 8.8 stuff, also there's no S-Spring but a pair of belleville washers instead. So no, you can't use the Mustang parts in your truck, unless said truck was an F150 with a 8.8 rear.

and if your not sure if the rear is stock or not;
jack up both wheels,chock the front tires,put it in N, and spin a tire.if they spin the same direction,your LS.if they spin opposite,its open.
