Pedal does not engage brakes untill about 1/2 way down. If I pump the pedal I get more petal to stop the car.
The fluid is full and not going down so I am sure I do not have a leak.
When stopped I can stand on the brake and the medal does not slowly move down. It stays with no hint of moving.
Am I correct in thinking the Master cylinder is bad?
The brakes worked fine yesterday.
Pumping the brakes did not always work or just seemed to work better than just going straight on the brakes.
Car also seems to have a pull when stopping hard. Kinda like one brake isn't working.
All pads, shoes, rotors and drums have about 10K on them if not less than 10K.
The first thing I would do is pull both rear drums and check that all the brake hardware is in place. If that is good then pull both front wheels and check the front calipers and pads.
