I have a 1994 F-150 300 Inline 6, and a damn fuse has blown 2 times today, which turns off the dogital odometor, doesitn shot the speed the truck is doing, and shifts hard, (non eletronic) please help!!! why is it blowing all of a sudden? it was a 15 fuse, should I try a 20 amp??? thanks in advance, dont want the E40D to burn out.
I'm willing to bet the wires to the OD off switch have broken... The reason I say this mine did the same thing almost 4 yrs ago..
The wires broke right where the shift lever connects in the column, took the plastic cover off and it was right there, spliced the wires and used heat shrink, it hasn't missed a beat in almost 4 yrs....
BTW, mine popped the fuse everytime I put it in reverse....
