V10 Knocking???

V10 Knocking???
Hey Guys I have bought a new to 2008 with the V10. When idoling it almost sounds like a diesel the dealer told me that the V10 is known for loud injectors and truth to this. Oil levels are fine just wondering??

Did you recently buy the truck from the dealer that told you that?
Sounds like you should get a second opinion. Take it to another dealer or trusted mechanic to get an unbiased opinion.
I hope the dealer you are working with is not just a shyster trying blow you off.

No, V-10s are not loud. It could be an exhaust leak, cam phaser, bad serpentine belt or a host of other parts causing the noise, but it should not be there. If you can't get to another dealer, contact Ford Customer Service and complain.
