vaca update roflmao
left rear tire lost tread at 70mph tore loose fill lines for both tanks wrapped around rear diff and tore vss off, changed tire, did a little clean up, didn't see missing vss, went and bought new spare, kept going, next time I took my foot off the gas, tranny went into limp mode at 70 mph and basically exploded. got new tranny put in and kept going. Right rear tire did same thing and flattened exhaust, went to wal-mart, got 4 new tires, bought sawzall and cut off 18" of exhaust, returned saw and kept going made it home after 1200 miles and breathed sigh of relief. need new bed, exhaust and fill lines, yay

turned out that PO had wrong weight class tire. like an a** I didn't check that and aired tires up to the specs on the door. D class tires aren't meant to hold 80 psi!! Now the tires are E class

Hell, I'm gonna line my fender wells with plate steel!!! Actually I had the inboard passenger-side let go of some of its tread a few weeks ago, age must have caught up with it...
