okay guys I do not have alot of cash right now for a increase in diameter pipe but I did pick up two pieces of 15" long 1/16" thick and 2.5" diameter pipe today from the site now I can pull off the stupid 2foot muffler off the truck, however the only support back there is a clamp from the frame that wraps around the muffler how can I put something back there to support the straight pipe once the cannister is gone? custom fabrication is in mind, however ideas are not lol
heck just take some construction tool hangars and weld it to frame and set the pipe in it then done thats what mine has and it looks stock and works dang good
i have a 4 inch pipe what i did was cut the welds off the band part of the muffler clamp u bolted the the top portion to the pipe with a 5 inch clamp if you get my idea wish i could take a pic need daylight!!
