Question on F-150 Explorer
Hi all
I just acquired a 1985 F-150 Explorer edition and was wondering if they did come with a SWB
it doesnt run yet supposedly has a spun bearing in it
are there certain things i should check over that might be problem areas associated with the 4x4's?

I don't understand what you're asking - you say yours IS a SWB, so it seems like they DID come that way.
No major probs with the '85 4WD, except auto locking hubs which are always a problem. If you have manual hub locks, no sweat. Just repack the front wheel bearings and change all the fluids.

Yes mine is a SWB i wasn't sure because id never seen a SWB explorer before, i thought they only came in long bed
I do have manual locking hubs so ill get to the axles when i get the motor running
