4x4 indicator lights
I recently had to replace the slave cylinder on my 87 bII and in order to do that I had to remove the tranny. Everything went fine with the project except one thing: ever since I put it back together the 4x4 indicator lights on my dash don't come on when I put it into 4 wheel drive. I know that it IS going into 4 wheel drive so it is not a big problem, I am just wondering what happened. I have searched the tranny over and over for a loose wire or plug that I forgot to replace, but I just can't seem to pinpoint the cause. Anyone have any suggestions. Does anyone happen to know exactly where the plug for that sensor is located on the mitsubishi 5 speed with O/D?

On a 1989 when either of the switches are depressed the electronic control module will check the shift position sensor on the transfer case to determine it's position, I would start at the transfer case's position sensor.
