Beautiful truck...pretty low mileage for an '04 too. Since you're thinking of getting it to tow, you should find out if the gears have been swapped because it's not going to tow very well with stock gears and 40" tires.
Come to think of it, I bet you could not even find a bank to give you a $35,000 loan for an '04.
Holy smokes...that's about what a non-HD SD went for in '04. And that's brand spanking new with both the 36m/36k chassis & 5yr/100k engine warranties. I'd pass on the truck because (A) that way out of line for price on a 7 year old truck and (B) you can't convince me that truck is going to be able to pull like you'd like it to. It might for a while...but if you don't re-gear it your going to be shopping for a reman tranny/replacement pretty dang soon. It's your money...but if it was me I'd look for something allot closer to reasonable in the price range.
