Lug bolt problems
Need some help. I have a 97 F250 7.3PSD. I have two broken lug bolts on the rear that need to be replaced. When I removed the brake drum, it looks like the bolts are too long to be removed by just knocking them out the back toward the brake shoe backing plate. I hope I am wrong about this and that I don't have to take off the hub/axle assembly to remove and replace them. Any help appreciated.

Yes you are wrong, you just knock them out like you said, you might have to take off the shoes, but they should go out and in without taking that all apart, you just have to get the stud at just the right spot with just the right angle.
