99 ranger bleed screws
My neighbor is at the brake repair shop right now and i'm trying to find the answer to his problem. He may have put the calipers on backwards this past weekend, if thats even posible. He's being trying to figure out why his pedal is soft after some home repairs. Do the bleed screws end up at the top or the bottom of the caliper once the caliper is installed?
Front brakes are the problem , 4 wheel abs, 99 ranger

never mind
My neighbor managed to install the brake cllipers on the wrong wheels, aka backwards. In doing so the bleed screws ended up on the bottom instead of correctly being at the top. So it is easily do-able to mix up the 2 calipers and then install on the incorrect side of the car.
In doing so you will get a soft brake pedal and no matter how many times you bleed the brakes, the soft pedal wont go away.

If he let air get in the system & it's made it's way to the ABS motor valving & gotten in there, he might end up at the Dealer, or back at the brake shop, to have a vacuum applied to the system, while a special scantool actuates the ABS motor to purge the valving.
So it's a pia if we let get air in that!!!!
