Won't start, relay going crazy!
1995 F150, 4x4, auto trans, 351 with 150K mi.
A couple of times now when I go to start the truck, this relay from under the dash starts to cycle like mad, and the truck will not start; it wont even turn over. In fact, it is as if the whole cab has lost power - no lights, chimes, or anything.
The last time it happened I localized it to fuse #8 (dome light, mirrors, door ajar chime, etc...) by pulling the fuses until the relay quit cycling. The relay also does not cycle with the key in the "run" position. However, my truck still won't start...
The first time this happened, it just cleared up by itself after about 15 minutes. This time I'm hoping the same, but its only been 5 minutes or so since it happened!
Any help would be appreciated. I haven't looked at any electrical drawings yet, but if anyone has heard of this please give me your info.

I don't know. I'm not even sure its under the dash, the sound is more from under the steering column, and to the inboard side of the truck; like behind the heater/ac controls or something.
My bigger problem right now is that the truck won't start! This seems to be the same relay that picks up when the inside lights come on (like when you open the door.) If the door is open, and you push the button in the door jam to make the lights come on and off, it sounde like it is that same relay...
