Changes from 1999 to 2000 model year?
What were they? I've been told to look at 2000 to early 2003 7.3L F350s as I'm ready to move up from my 1995 F250 7.3L extended cab.
I'm hauling a 2500 lb 9.5 foot truck camper with an extended hitch (super hitch), f350 springs, firestone airbags; pulling a Jeep on 1500 lb trailer. Needless to say I'm probably overloading my f250. Never had one problem ar 230k miles. Bought it with 211k miles.
I'm seeing lots of 1999's but not as many 2000-2003s in WA state and the ones I'm finding I think are way overpriced for a 8-10 year old truck with 150,000 plus miles in the 18-20k range. Or are they worth that much over the 6.0Ls that I'm seeing for under 20k?

There are differences between the two, but I can't say it would stop me from getting an e'99 if you find the truck you want for the price you want. Things might be a bit "beefier" on the 99.5+, but my truck pulls everything I want it to and stops it as well. I let my dad use mine enough times that he went out and bought his own PSD.
