Remote oil filter placement

Does anyone have a good idea where to mount a remote oil filter? And if so, do you have any pics?
I already have a add-on tranny filter on the inside of the pass frame rail, between the rad and motor. Oil filter on the other side would have been sweet, but the steering is in the way. I don't want to go on the outside frame rail, for what should be obvious reasons.

Any fresh ideas would be nice!

WOW, no one has a remote filter on their truck? Does everyone like the oil leaking down the cross member, or is that just annoying to me? I find that hard to believe!

My filter doesn't leak, so it has never been a problem.. As for when changing oil I slip a piece of cardboard or some newspaper under the filter, again have no problems.. Cross member is dry as a bone and always has been..

I don't really care for the "add on" remote filters, too many hose clamp connections to leak or worse blow off.

To each his own!!

Thanks for the feed back. Yeah I was just talking about oil changes. 4x4 has to come out thru the top, and at 6'2" I have to climb into the engine compartment to pull it out.
Oh well, I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. Plan on using stainless braided AN 10 hose and the correct fittings.
