You need to find what the wires are you are squeezing to start it currently.
If the NSS has two read wires, what are the wire in the duct tape ball??
Personally, I'd fix it correctly, if it takes replacing the clutch switch so be it, to each their own.

Im not sure whats exactly is making contact to start the truck but I think I'm going to bypass the whole thing becuase I dont like the way the lever sits on the back on the clutch pedal I can see it breaking on me but ultimately I just want to turn key and have it start I'm tired of fidgeting with the whole thing so its on the docket for Friday.
