Need Some help with a how to...

Hey Everyone,
So im trying to replace one of my rear leaf springs on my 1979 ford f150 and im trying to figure out how to hold up the truck while dropping the rear axle. My truck has a 6 inch lift and i dont have anything tall enough to reach the frame and hold it up. I know some of you have done this before and wanted to see how you may have done it or have any suggestions?

i always jacked the rear axle up as high as i can then then lowered the frame on wood blocks

ive been lucky enough that i always had a friend or friend of a friend that had a lift in there shop for cases like this
